Meet Anna Mitchell

2015 Ron Paul Patriot Scholarship Winner

Anna is a freshman at Stanford University. She is fascinated by economics, especially public choice, economic history, and development economics; computer science, particularly using technology for social good; history; and philosophy. She is excited about how entrepreneurship can create social change. Anna loves to teach and mentor younger students; in high school she founded and ran an economics class for middle and high schoolers, helped kids learn to code, and served as a teaching assistant for online AP classes. She is also an avid writer and serves a deputy cycle editor for the Stanford Review, an independent newspaper. Anna is passionate about individual liberty and classical liberalism.
