Summer 2015 MLT Internship Grants
Deadlines
- The Campaign for Liberty Foundation will begin accepting applications on January 20, 2015
- Any application received with a postmark prior to January 20, 2015 will not be eligible
- Deadline for all scholarship packages is May 26, 2015
- Any application package received with a postmark later than May 26, 2015 will not be eligible
- Recipients of the Summer 2015 M. Louise Tate Internship Grants will be announced in early June (recipients will be notified via certified letter)
Requirements
- You must have a confirmed internship for the Summer semester of 2015 with a D.C. based, liberty-friendly organization or congressman
- If you have yet to confirm your internship, we still encourage you to apply. However, funds will not be distributed until the internship is confirmed.
- We will be double checking with organization/office
- Those who are set to intern with a liberty-friendly organization NOT in the D.C. area are still encouraged to apply

- 1 Essay, not to exceed 500 words, typed, double-spaced and in 12 point font (see below or application for topics)
- 1 Letter of Recommendation
- 3.25 cumulative GPA
- All grant packages should be sent in nothing smaller than a 9 x 12 envelope and we ask that you not staple any of the contents
- Finalists will be asked to do a phone interview with a foundation employee. If you are a finalist you will receive an email from the foundation to schedule the day and time of your interview
Essays
Choose ONE of the following essay questions and answer in 500 words or less. Please submit typed, double-spaced, in 12 point font on separate sheet(s) of paper.
- Why is a complete audit of the Federal Reserve necessary?
- Why should millennials care about monetary policy?
- Explain the role the U.S. military should play in defending our country and in world affairs.
